MS Dhoni is quite a legendary and big name in the history of Indian cricket which is why he is still the most debated topic without having taken the field since a long while now. All the cricket fanatics, the Indian team management as well as the BCCI are currently awaiting a clear update on Dhoni’s future in international cricket. The senior Indian wicket-keeper batsman has made himself unavailable from the limited-overs format since the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.
During a recent promotional event, MS Dhoni reportedly stated that he won’t answers any cricket related questions till January 2020. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman has an interesting update about the veteran’s future in Indian cricket. Laxman believes that both Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson’s performances in the upcoming months will help Dhoni get a clear picture on his retirement decision.
“I think Dhoni will wait with patience to see the performance of Pant and Samson. Whenever he gets an opportunity and he will take a call after the IPL because the way I am seeing it, Dhoni is preparing himself for the IPL. I’m sure he will do well like he has done whenever he plays and leads CSK,” quoted VVS Laxman.
