"We have also hired the services of four umpires- Amish Saheba, Sudhir Asnani, Sanjay Hazare, and Umesh Dubey-for this 15-day tournament", Nayak, who also worked with the Indian cricket board, said.
"These T-20 matches are played with the same MCC laws adopted by the ICC", one of the umpires officiating in Raipur said.
"There have been no reduced boundaries for the "internationally retired" players participating in this tournament here", the umpire added.
"Players will be able to play freely as there is no pressure".
The Road Safety World Series organized by the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra to raise awareness about road safety. Notable retired players from India, England, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, and Bangladesh are participating.
Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador.
This BCCI-approved tournament is being managed by the Professional Management Group (PMG).
