Team India's players will be seen in a new personification in the ICC T20 World Cup. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) launched Team India's new jersey for the T20 World on 13 October. The new jersey that Team India has got is slightly different from the old one. The jersey that Team India was wearing till now was dark blue. The new jersey is also of the same colour, but has a different design. It also has a light blue stripe in the middle. The old jersey had a tricolor on the shoulder, whereas this jersey does not have any design on the shoulder. The kit also has three stars above the BCCI logo. The three stars represent the three World Cups won by Team India. Two of these victories came in the ODI format (1983 and 2011), and one in the T20 format (2007).The new jersey will replace jerseys similar to the ICC 1992 ODI World Cup pattern, which the Indian cricket team started wearing late last year. India's first match in the T20 World Cup is against well-known rival Pakistan on 24 October.
