The match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur ended the skipper of the visiting team, MS Dhoni invading the field in a protest against an umpiring goof. Famously known as the captain cool, MS Dhoni got angry with an unsettled situation at the field and many other people who preceded it as a bad gesture. The issue hasn’t settled till now, even after the Dhoni got fined with 50% of the match fee, with many people opinionating the incident. However the CSK batting coach, Mike Hussey said that the team has moved ahead of that episode and it won’t have any impact on their upcoming game.

Dhoni got angry after he saw the on-field umpire Ulhas Gandhe reverting from giving a no-ball to the waist high delivery to the all-rounder Ben Stokes. This happened during the final over chase of the CSK to the target of 174 however Stokes got dismissed soon after. The non-striker end batsman, Ravindra Jadeja noticed the delivery as well and so he also protested. It is at that point, when Dhoni entered the field and burst out on the umpire, Gandhe.
Talking about the same, the batting coach of CSK, Mike Hussey said that,”It’s like having a loss. And again, you move on to the next match as quickly as you possibly can. So to be honest, we haven’t spoken about it. It’s been dealt with and we’ve moved on.”

He further said that it can happen during the IPL and it has been dealt with in the right manner after the game. Now the team has moved on to their next match very quickly and there is no point in talking about the same. “Yeah, it’s all happened and it’s been dealt with pretty much right after the game. And the game is finished and that’s the thing about the IPL. You get to move on to the next match very quickly. There’s no point us dwelling on it. Worrying about and stressing about it, we’ve got to move on,” said Hussey.
Hussey who has been played with the CSK squad lauded Dhoni as an important asset for the team saying that he is capable of responding to any situation of the game.
