Chris Lynn’s Record Berserk Knock Takes Arabians To Easy Win

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, Maratha Arabians lost the wicket of their opening batsman Hazratullah Zazai quite early as Ben Laughlin shattered his stumps down. The other opening batsman Chris Lynn started going ablaze at the other end smashing the opposition bowlers all over the park. Lynn was absolutely smacking ruthlessly as he recorded the joint-fastest fifty of the ongoing tournament off just 18 balls.

Adam Lyth also striked four amazing sixes in his cameo innings of 30 runs off 18 balls. Lyth and Lynn stitched an excellent partnership of 92 runs for the second wicket. Lynn played a sensational unbeaten knock of 91 runs off just 30 balls as Maratha Arabians finished with a mammoth total of 138 for 2 in 10 overs. For Team Abu Dhabi, Ben Laughlin bowled really well as he gave just 15 runs and picked up a wicket as well.

In the second innings, Team Abu Dhabi got off to a poor start with Niroshan Dickwella walking back quite early with just 22 runs on the board. Abu Dhabi captain Moeen Ali then smacked some powerful strikes before he got dismissed for an 11-ball 31. The required run-rate was continuously rising substantially upwards.

The pair of Luke Wright and Lewis Gregory did stitch a fine partnership of 45 runs at the end but they failed to score runs at a quick rate and eventually Team Abu Dhabi managed to get 114/3 in their quota of 10 overs. For Maratha Arabians, Mitchell McClenaghan and Wanindu Hasaranga took a wicket each.
