IPL 2019, Match 13- KXIP Vs DC, Preview: Ecstatic Teams Ready To Ride On The Winning Drive

After two captivating double-header days, the intriguing 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) saga is all set to kick off its second week. In the 13th match of IPL 2019, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will be locking horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) on 1st April in Mohali. Both the teams are coming into this game after registering sensational victories in their respective previous matches and hence, they will now be aiming to extend the winning momentum.

KXIP crossed the Mumbai Indians (MI) barrier in the last home encounter in Mohali. During that convincing victory, they also sorted out majority of their batting as well as bowling issues. KL Rahul, who was in a poor form before the game, finally came back amongst the runs, smashing an excellent half-century to announce his arrival. Mayank Agarwal has also emerged as a shining prospect for KXIP and the last two splendid knocks which he played in pressure situations will surely give him a great motivation and confidence for the rest of the season.

In the bowling department, Murugan Ashwin's selection proved to be a masterstroke in the previous game as he took two crucial wickets at an impressive economy. The bowlers now need to continue with the good work in the upcoming games as well.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are coming into this match after a jail break victory in the thrilling Super Over clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). After struggling to find his feet in the first two outings, opener Prithvi Shaw retaliated with a phenomenal innings to stamp his authority at the grandest stage of all. Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer also contributed with a significant knock.

With Iyer and Shaw's smashing performances, the DC team management will now feel confident about their top-order concerns. Kagiso Rabada and Sandeep Lamichhane's amazing bowling effort was the other positive for Delhi in the last game. They seem to have addressed most of their combination issues with that staggering victory.
